Ryan Seacrest stalker arrested

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has been granted a restraining order against a man arrested on Friday on suspicion of stalking the star. Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr, 25, was arrested after he entered the E! Entertainment building in LA. Court papers say Mr Uzomah was trying to see Seacrest and that he was armed with a knife. Seacrest wrote in a court statement: 'His aggressive and violent efforts to come into physical contact with me are extremely frightening to me. They have jeopardised not only my personal safety but also the safety and wellbeing of those around me'. A court hearing on whether to grant a three-year restraining order against Mr Uzomah will be held on 17 November.
