MDS Sound of 2012: Jess Mills

One of Island Records newest poppets, this electronic driven english musician has been wowing with her original material since her breakout collaboration with Breakage on the single "Fighting Fire", which was a hit around the UK. Jess's got a light and vaguely dub-step inflected sound, with some really tasteful distortions on a pretty, soft vocal, which make her the perfect artist for electro music. She's already working on her debut album and if she follows the footsteps of similar artists like Katy B, she could be a hit.
