I'M LOOKING FOR A DUTCH TRANSLATOR, IF INTERESTED, EMAIL ME

Loads of acts coloured our screens last week, with the likes of  Anneloes Wigboldus and Loes van de Mars both impressing the audience with their renditions of "People help the people" and "More" respectively and former Idol contestant David Gonçalves making a triumphant return. Will we witness another magical moment tonight? ... This is The Voice!

Recap and videos after the JUMP ...

Jared Hiwat - "Dedication to my ex" - 3/4 - This is a really predictable song for the type of singer he is. I also hate this song, if I've not said that already. He's a fine performer and was quite entertaining. But is he interesting? I don't think so. Team Marco - VIDEO

Janine Heines - "Zombie" - 1/4 - She's got a quite interesting tone but as it happened with Jared, her song choice was predictable. This is not the song to pick if you've got a quirky tone cause you'll sound exactly like Dolores. The performance was still good, she just needs to pick better songs to showcase her talent. Claire Melchiot - "Right to Be Wrong" - 2/4 - Powerful soulful voice but yet another predictable song choice. What's wrong with them tonight? The problem with Claire is that she sounds exactly like Joss Stone, who is the original artist of the song she's singing, so it's rather hard to set them apart. She's a great singer but she's not unique enough, she sould've picked something really different to actually impress the judges. Team Nick & Simon - VIDEO

Hagar Daoudi - "Heaven" - 1/4 - Uh, bad song choice Hagar. This song is way to big for her voice and it shows. She couldn't hit the higher notes and was gasping for air almost the entire performance. I've no idea why Trijntje picked her cause honestly, it wasn't good at all. Trijntje will definitely have a hard time mentoring her. Team Trijntje - VIDEO

Sam Holden - "Skinny love" - 4/4 - He comes from New Zealand. He's in Holland doing an intership, he's a lawyer. Her girlfriend is also a lawyer. Sam says his girlfriend singed him up so he really has no expectations, though it's a good opportunity. His guitar playing sounded a little off to me but apart from that, his performance was excellent. He's got a very relaxed style and his phrasing is amazing. He sounded a little like Bon Iver but the arrangement of the song made his performance work and as Roel said, I think every song he touches will sound as great as this one. He's definitely one of the best I've seen so far. Team Roel - VIDEO

Desi van Doeveren - "Alone" - 2/4 - She's invited to audition for the show. Her friend, Lennart Philippo, performs before Desi and despite he sounded better than some of the acts we've seen, he doesn't get any of the coaches to turn around for him. Desi's got a powerful but generic voice. I liked some of the things she did with the song melody but it sounded as most covers of this song sound. It wasn't interesting but she surely has a huge voice. Team  Roel - VIDEO

Kelita Gallant - "You might need" - 2/4 - She recorded the theme song for the film "Suriname". Her voice is good but it's not very distinctive. She sounds a lot like Hagar, only that Kelita was on tune. The song as boring but she's a good performer. I hope she had done something different cause I don't know how far she could get after this. The scat was terrific though. Team Marco - VIDEO

Claudia de Graaf - "Good God" - 1/4 - Where did she got this song from? I've never heard it before and I don't regret that. The song is quite awful in all truth. No wonder why the other judges didn't turn for her. Claudia's got a good voice but that song didn't let her show it, I'm not confident Nick & Simon can turn her into something current either. Hopefully the can. Team Nick & Simon - VIDEO

Maaike Hagar - "9 to 5" - 4/4 - Maaike is a waitress at a restaurant. She gets invited to audition for the show and all the place give her a round of applause. This is an odd song choice, it's also quite shocking how soon all the judges turned for her. She's a great singer but this wasn't the song for her, which happened to be the case for most of the contestants tonight. There's a slight country twang in her voice, maybe Marco should push her that way. Team Marco - VIDEO

The following contestants all got montaged towards the end, so my comments on them will be obviously very short.

Marco Gerits - "Lego House" - 1/4 - He took all the life away from "Lego House" and made it a boring ballad. But he was montaged, so we'll forget soon about him. Team Trijntje - VIDEO

Sebastiano Zafarana - "I'm Still Standing" - 1/4 - Not a fan of this song but he certainly had fun with it and Roel seemed to enjoy it. His facial expressions were a little too much though. Team Roel - VIDEO

Kristel Roulaux - "Nobody's Perfect" - 1/4 - Her take on Jessie J's hit wasn't as good as the original but she does have a powerful voice. She sounded off a few times on that clip though. Maybe the whole performance was better? Team Nick & Simon - VIDEO
